Harry Resnick, President Chris Centouri, Manager
NCRA
Board of Directors AHOME
Dear
Harry, Chris, and members of the Board,
Bev
and I would like to commend you all for continuing to accomplish good
things for the betterment of North Ranch. It’s not an easy job. I know.
And it concerns me that some of our North Ranch neighbors may not
appreciate what a hard job it really is.
I
recognize the fact that residents would like the Board to respond to
needs right away (and God knows we’ve got plenty in this 20-year old
community.) And, when you don’t, for whatever reason, people will feel
you’re not responsive. But I can’t help but wonder about the following:
Ø
Does
everyone know the amount of our annual budget?
Ø
Does
everyone know it was necessary to expend over half a million dollars
just to maintain our streets, and thereby the value of our properties?
Ø
Does
everyone know why it was necessary to let our grass go brown over the
fall, winter, spring, and summer? That it was to kill the weed problem
that was killing our grass? I hope everyone will read the landscape
company’s letter that you re-posted on the Board’s bulletin board that
explains all this.
Ø
Does
everyone know that we’ve expended thousands to repair & replace the
lighting around the pools and entrances to improve North Ranch safety
and aesthetics and thereby enhance property values? Lighting that has
been dark for over 5 years is now beautifully lit – especially the
Thornydale entrance that was lighted just last week!
Ø
Does
everyone know the costs of…rebuilding walls…installing security lights,
cameras, and guards to reduce crime and bad behavior at the pools …
refurbishing the Ramada…and all of the other myriad maintenance needs
required every year to keep our property values up?
So
thanks. Keep on keepin’ on doing the good work that many of us recognize
and appreciate.
Sincerely,
Doug & Bev Knox |
